Pentastic sells a full line of pens and pencils, fountain pens, keychains, letter openers and CD tops. Because each item is hand-turned, no two items are exactly alike.

First, the raw materials (woods, acrylics, or stone) are cut to size. Next, an appropriate size hole is drilled the middle of each piece. If necessary, metal inserts are glued in place.

Once cut, drilled, and glued, it's time to turn the materials on the lathe. The materials are rounded with a rough-cut chisel. Then other turning tools are used to smooth the materials, to add shape, to cut grooves and bevels, etc. Next, the materials are carefully sanded to bring out the maximum shine. Finally, a clear sealant and several layers of clear polish are applied to protect the materials for maximum shine, quality, and durability.

After the materials are turned, all the parts are assembled to create the quality products we sell.
